Designer and artist Gwenn Connolly finds joy in expressing herself in various media. "The principles of good design are the same whatever the project," says Gwenn. "If you truly understand visual vocabulary -- color, shape and composition, you can express yourself in a wide variety of genres."

Gwenn began her career as a Graphic Designer creating products, marketing materials and packaging for the toy and stationery industries. After building her reputation, Gwenn branched out on her own, helping small businesses to  refine their visual messaging.

Recently, Gwenn's clients have been asking for her help in making their offices look as good as their materials. So she has added interior design to her list of client services.

"I love every aspect of design -- and now that I'm doing it in 3-D, it gives me even more to enjoy."

"With her expansive artistic skills and stellar eye, Gwenn is definitely my go-to person when I need a logo or design to express a complex theme or reflect a specific mood or emotion. She brings a thoughtful perspective and intelligence to every project and always surprises me with her fresh and unique design concepts."

-- Sheri Davenport, Screenwriter/Marketing Manager, Pheonix

"Our business is all about creating a great first impression. But our website and signage defnitely didn't match up. Gwenn gave us a new cohesive look, from our website and cards to our signs and even our t-shirts. (She helped us pick the colors for those, too.) Now, when we tell prospective clients how careful we are about the details, our marketing materials let them know right away that we mean what we say."

"I've worked with inummerable graphic designers in my career as a copywriter, and I can say I have never had a more satisfying or productive result than I have had working with Gwenn. Not only is she supremely talented, she is also a great collaborator. She's my first choice for every project I have."

-- Susan Schwartz, Principal, You Who Branding, San Mateo

"I knew I didn't have the money to  rip out and re-do my kitchen, so I had given up on even thinking of it. But Gwenn saw possibilities -- keeping the things I couldn't change -- and re-vitalizing the rest. I never would have believed she could have created such an extraordinary change on such a small budget. I don't think it could have come out any better -- even if I had re-designed it from scratch!"
